Attorney and Founder of Red Eagle Law, L.C.

A native of Indiana, Curtis obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville, and J.D. from Whittier Law School.

Curtis practices in the nexus of federal litigation and immigration law. He is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar.

Curtis is also admitted to practice before the multiple Federal District Courts, including:   

Central District of California, Northern District of California, Eastern District of California, Southern District of California, District Court for the District of Columbia, District Court for the District of Colorado, District Court for the Western District of Texas, District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, District Court for the District of Maryland, District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit,  US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and  US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Curtis is also the founder and partner of the law firm Morrison Urena, L.C., best known for winning injunctive relief against both the Trump Administration and the Biden Administration on behalf of thousands of immigrant visa applicant plaintiffs. 

Curtis lives in San Diego County, California. When not working, he enjoys gardening and being outdoors. He also spends too much time on Twitter.

Senior Attorney 

Located in Austin Texas, Chuck is licensed in the State of New York and admitted in 7th Cir., DC Cir., DDC, NDIL, SDIN, WDKY, EDMO, EDNY, WDWI, EDTX, DNE, and DMD. As an immigration attorney and a migrant himself, Mr. Guo believes in freedom of movement, economic opportunity, and free and open society. With a narrow focus on the fields of APA/Mandamus litigation and business- and employment-based non-immigration and immigration, he has zealously and successfully represented numerous clients in H-1B, P-3, L-1, E-2, O-1, NIW, EB-1, PERM, and other immigration cases.

Sailed from Northern China, Mr. Guo has been braising in U.S. law. He received his Master of Laws degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before working for this law firm, he worked for the Law Offices of Deacon Zhang, P.C. in the Irvine Office and Morrison Urena LC in Austin. His areas of interest are Immigration Law, Business Associations, and Constitutional Law. He has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA) since 2017. Prior to coming to the U.S., he worked as a Corporate Finance Client Manager at China CITIC Bank Shijiazhuang Branch.

Associate Attorney

After living abroad in the Philippines for 2 years, Garrett received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, and graduated with a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. He is licensed to practice by the DC Bar, and admitted to the federal district court for the District of Columbia, the District of Maryland, and the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit and the Fourth Circuit.

Garrett is interested in the intersection of immigration law, policy, and litigation. He has experience in numerous practice settings, including a mid-size business immigration firm, a Senate Committee, the Department of Justice's Office of Immigration Litigation, and an advocacy policy shop.

Garrett regularly volunteers with the American Immigration Lawyers Association,  the civil pro bono panel for the District of Columbia, and is committed to finding pro bono opportunities to serve migrant clients. He also engages with academic literature about government contracts, detention, international law, and legislative proposals.

Garrett lives with his young family in Washington, DC and regularly visits his local roots in Utah. He enjoys paintballing with his brothers and tending 2 pet cockatiel birds.  

Associate Attorney

Hamdy is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Hamdy received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2023 with a concentration in environmental law and public interest. Hamdy is licensed to practice law by the state of California.  

Hamdy has hundreds of hours volunteering for veteran advocacy with the Community Veterans Justice Project in Los Angeles and helping low-income San Diegans with immigration and family law issues at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program.  

Hamdy is first generation Law student. His parents immigrated from Palestine and worked incredibly hard to support him and his education. He is blessed and excited to have the opportunity to help others like his parents who wish to chase the American Dream and raise families with safety and prosperity.  

In his free time, you can find Hamdy hiking and camping with his two dogs: a 110lb Husky/Lab and a 4.5lb Chihuahua.  

Associate Attorney

Carolina Solano is an associate attorney at Red Eagle Law, where she represents individuals and families in complex immigration matters nationwide, with a focus on challenging unlawful federal agency action and delays in immigration benefits. She is admitted to practice in New Mexico and before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, District of Maryland, and Eastern District of Texas. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Chicago Chapter.

Carolina earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2019. During law school, she worked with nonprofit organizations serving women and children detained at the Dilley immigration detention facility and survivors of domestic violence through Chicago’s Domestic Violence Courthouse. A native Spanish speaker with a background in creative arts and telecommunications, Carolina brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her advocacy.

Paralegal and Law Student

Elsi earned her Master of Laws degree at the Georgia State University.

She is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking paralegal dedicated to serving immigrant communities with care, precision, and respect. With her experience assisting clients through complex immigration processes, she brings both compassion and attention to detail to every case. Her commitment to accessibility, clear communication, and client-centered service helps ensure that each client feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their legal journey. 

Paralegal

Farshad Amirkhani is certified paralegal by AILA, American Immigration Lawyers Association. He also holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business from I.A. University.

January 27, 2017, as a Multipreneurs, he  was in the airport that  the new president of the US Donald Trump upon siting on the chair at Whitehouse signed the first and original executive order of Travel Ban. In 2019, Farshad realized that legal action by filing a writ of mandamus through an expertise and  adventurer attorney is the solution. 

He filed his mandamus with Curtis Lee Morrison!

Farshad had got new passion to assist those are in similar situation on social media and the groups before entering the US.

Once in the US, Farshad joined in Curtis Morrison immigration law as a native Persian/Farsi speaking paralegal and also limited to professional working proficiency Azeri and Turkish.

Farshad loves reading and think-tank, ready for continuous learning, unlearning and relearning. He has a very simple definition of himself: Timeless, Fearless and Boundless.

The opportunity of assisting people to fulfill their immigration wishes is priceless, we are here to support them from the before to after of their migration to have a better community.

Abdullahi is a dedicated professional at Red Eagle Law, LC.

Abdullahi earned his Associate Degree from Maseno University, Kenya before embarking on a challenging journey to immigrate to the United States.

 Having personally experienced the complexities of the immigration process, Abdullahi recognized the crucial need for legal representation for individuals with similar backgrounds. 

Determined to make a positive impact, he quickly adapted to life in the U.S. and became actively involved in supporting his community.

Outside the office, Abdullahi spends his weekends on the soccer field, showcasing his love for the sport. Eager to explore the beauty of the United States, he looks forward to new adventures and contributing to the diverse tapestry of our firm.

Sonya leads our Client Accounts team and makes sure every client feels supported from start to finish. With years of experience in finance and accounting, Sonya focuses on clear communication, organized case management and a positive client experience. She works closely with our team to keep cases moving smoothly and to make sure clients always know what to expect. Sonya is dedicated to providing dependable, thoughtful service to everyone who comes through our firm.

Takhmina holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from Rice University (2023), bringing a strong understanding of immigration policy, international affairs, and cross-cultural communication.

Immigration professional with 5+ years of experience supporting employment-based, family-based, and Diversity Visa cases, including H-1B, L-1/L-2, student visas, and high-volume consular processing. Experienced in managing complex, compliance-driven immigration workflows, coordinating with attorneys, government agencies, and embassies, and handling large caseloads with accuracy and discretion.
