Alexander Loznak grew up on his family’s farm in rural Oregon and earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in New York City. He returned to Oregon after college and earned his J.D. from the University of Oregon, School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Oregon.
Alex will always advocate for the underdog. This includes advocating for immigrant families as they navigate the often-labyrinthine complexities of the U.S. immigration system. His experience includes full-time positions, internships, and contract work for a wide variety of organizations including private law firms, non-profits, and academic research centers.
Before transitioning to immigration law, Alex cut his professional teeth in the field of environmental law, where he worked for cutting-edge legal organizations such as the Climate Protection and Restoration Initiative, led by Daniel M. Galpern. His experience also includes plaintiff-side litigation against insurance corporations.
As an intern at Our Children’s Trust, Alex worked with Curtis Morrison to identify and review thousands of documents pertaining to the U.S. Government’s responsibility for causing climate change. This included on-site research at presidential libraries, where Alex uncovered the earliest-known White House mention of climate change — dating back to the John F. Kennedy administration.
In all of his endeavors, Alex strives to advance justice and hold decision-makers accountable to the law. He brings this passion and vision to Red Eagle Law, where he is advancing litigation to assist visa applicants facing unreasonable and unlawful delays in the administrative processing of their applications.
In his free time, Alex enjoys hiking, reading, and visiting new places. He is always eager to learn more about the world in which we live, while striving to make it a better place for all.
